McLovin
Thailand is in in turmoil. Their international gateway has been overrun by protesters for nearly a week now. Arguably hundreds of thousands of people have now missed flights, or cannot get home. The local economy must be on the verge of collapse. Report have said that nearly a million people will face unemployment next year as a direct result of this chaos ... So, what does Thailands gutless coward Prime Minister do today, he visits a temple http://www.nationmultimedia.com/breakingne...newsid=30089806

plastacasta
Hmm… day whatever of this crazy situation and still no one has grown the ^^**^ to sort it out! Can it be true that the whole country continues to turn a blind eye to what is happening, regardless of the dire economic situation that is inevitably around the corner for them? Postal services halted. OK, so Thais maybe able to live without a letter or a bill or two, but what about businesses? What about people hoping to write to friends and family outside of Thailand for Christmas! What must the bosses of Thai Airways be thinking? Their entire fleet of planes on the tarmac, crew stranded outside the country, loosing millions every day? Does anyone else see the demise of the national carrier through this farce? How long till people in cities and towns outside of BKK start noticing that certain things just aren’t getting through…? And what will the knock on effect be for neighboring countries? This is SOooo D U M B it beats all the other ‘disasters’ that have befallen Thailand in the past. Meanwhile Somchai goes to a temple today to pay his respects!!! Boy oh Boy… this really takes Thai politics to another level!
