Are there any GA airports around BKK which are still flying, and which rent out i.e. 4 seater cessna's?. Got some urgent business and need to get to Shanghai with another guy.

Idea is to head to Phuket, and get commercial to Singapore and then to SH, or maybe via Chiang Mai ??

Any idea's how to escape ? ( and then next issue - how to get back home )

ermm Thai airways has started flying out of Utapao

have you checked with them already? not sure if it includes shanghai yet, but there are some overseas destination (including singapore, plus domestic to CNX and HKT)
