Take a look at the sky right now - the crescent moon and 2 very bright stars. In amongst all the angst in BKK, who says this isn't still "Amazing Thailand"?

Anyone know what the very bright star is? Planet?

Just took a look through my binoculars - awesome. Memo to self - go get that telescope you've been pondering so long.

And I knew there had to be some more good karma coming - when my neighbour had 2 big lychee trees cut down and I lost a whole lot of shade and privacy, but gained a sunset view of Doi Suthep..........

A lovely sight! Could somebody with a decent camera take a pic of this and post it here please? My uncle is an amateur astronomer and I think he would be delighted to see a pic of this.

Jupitor but Venus ( The Goddess of love ) fooled me again

its beautiful. tried to take some pictures with my point and shoot but useless pics. no proper camera for it.

Nice Pic....Interesting that everybody is only seing it today ,,,,....My daughter and I saw it last evening around 7 pm on our way home....in fact she is the one who pointed out the 2 bright stars .....

Close to 7pm! We only have point and shoots so I had to catch it before it got too dark. Been waiting awhile for it though, very cool IMO.
