P ' Ad No Longer For Pad

Ad Carabao is a well-known singer and in 2006 was a PAD supporter making a number of critical statements of Thaksin - see here - but now it seems he is directing his anger at PAD. The Manager has an article complaining that a concert on Saturday he attacked the PAD throughout stating that the seizing of Suvarnbumi caused two of his friends who work for Air Asia to lose their jobs [just lose out on work?]. He called on them to negotiate peacefully. However, when he was speaking about Thaksin he mentioned his support for the poor and helping farmers when in the previous government no one did anything.

BP: Will PAD supporters start criticizing him?

btw, I would guess those friends of Ad were of the young, attractive female variety.

So he was a supporter of PAD until it actually affected his friends financially. Lovely man.

I think he realized it was wrong when people start losing their jobs and money.

The experts here say that PAD only had peaceful protests.

You owe me a coffee.

Sounds to me as though he's trying to keep BOTH sides sweet - maybe he's worried about plunging record sales in Thailands forthcoming deep recession.

Precisely.
