That's what I thought, but I kept my money in the UK banks and in GBPs. And now the policies of this pair of sadistic and immoral incompetents have come back with a vengeance. There are several million Brits living on a UK pension abroad. Obviously Brown and Darling haven't yet foreseen the consequences of turning the GBP into junk bond status.
