GungaDin
Just a quick note about the terrible conditions at JJ Plaza. I went last Friday & was disgusted at the way birds were held by 2 longtime vendors. Too many birds in each tiny cage, the birds were traumatised, some with broken beaks... I'll never buy another bird at JJ Plaza. Thonburi Market, Sanamluang2, is the opposite. More about TM later...... if I can find it on Google maps! (Anyone help?) I don't understand why anyone wants to keep a bird in a cage at all.Over the last 5 years in Phuket there's been a huge increase in the number of birds hanging in cages everywhere. Transported on motor bikes, in the back of pick ups, left in the sun all day, it's really upsetting to see.I can't believe that they have "Bird singing competitions" either , ridiculous. girlx
JJ is not very good for most types of animals, i wish they would close down the pet section.
