Good Walking/hiking Shoes

Hi looking for some decent walking/hiking shoes that I can expect to last for year or so and not disintegrate. Saw some North Face branded ones in Airport Plaza. I'm UK size 11 so those that stock large sizes are the major issue I guess.

Any recommendations both on decent brands and where to get em in Chiang mai?

If you can find them go for Rockport.

Had two pairs for ten years and ya can't kill them.

Like everything else though (if you want quality) you won't get Rockport quality under US$75.00 - 100.00 equivilent.

Now, as to where you might find them in Chiangmai (apart from my own) I am not able to be of much help.

Perhaps try Findig in Kad Suan Kaew. Talking of which I purchase a couple of pair of Italian dress shoes there about ten years back. Good (almost) as the day I got em.
