Where Can You Get Plant Seed's In Bangkok ?

Featured Replies

Im Planing on renovating my garden and or add more plants i wanted it to be a sophisticated garden (eg : knowing to contain plants which are not common ) or even common plants would be fine . . . anyone know an adress , or website , or contact info for a good shop that sellls seed's . any seeds would be fine eg morning glory , bundel flowers , anything like that . . .

If it is located anywhere in Bangkok that's going to be very helpful

If it is located anywhere in Pattaya that would be ok aswell

thank you for your help . . ..

bye take care people

thnks

I would have thought the flower market at Chatachak would sell everything from seeds up .

I know the weekend market near Mor chit has a large horticultural section selling a wide range of plants, flowers, seeds etc.

Leave bangkok and go past rangsit on the way to nakon nayok(think i spelt it right) Once you get the your to the first flower seller you see at khong 15 ask where the market is.

I will be going there once i get my car back on saturday. Heard its better than chattuchak which means its should be amazing. They sell everything, so people say.

Oh and chattuchak is best on wednesdays as its flowers day.

Near where?

Chattuchak is generally regarded as the weekend market, yes its open on weekends saturday and sunday but the day of wednesday is flower day, not so crowded, more enjoyable to go.

I cant verify them having seeds but i would imagine they would. You can almost buy anything you want there.

Also Khong 5 is a place where wholesalers and garden designers source there products from. I will be going saturday.

Thailand is a gardeners dream, Back in the UK gardening would bore me.

Hey it might be worth posting this thread in the plants section of thaivisa as there will be people who know alot more than me. :o

I'll move it there

//moved to the Pets and Plants forum

Take a look at http://www.thaiseed.com/eng/index.asp

I've ordered seeds from them and had them sent to Udon. They respond to emails. Might be what you're looking for.
