Greetings Every1:

I am an Indian, visiting Thailand this Dec end for the first time. Kindly apprise me of Visa On Arrival and its fees or is it necessary for me to obtain a tourist visa prior to visiting Thailand ? Also, do kindly shed light on how much Bahts are necessary to convert prior to landing for a 10 day trip.

Please help !!!

Visa on arrival costs 1,000 Baht and will give a stay of 15 days

P.S. Unlike eons ago, data storage is cheap nowadays and it is no longer necessary to use a special code to save bits and bytes.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Not sure about visas for Indians but you'll need somewhere between 5,000 and 5,000,000 baht depending on what type of holiday you would like to have.

Lonely planet might be a good book to buy.

Lite Beer is right, you will get only 15 days; for how much you need to change, actually you do not have to change any money if you come with US. dollars or Euro, however that also depend on your lifestyle and activities in Thailand.
