Indeed - it should be New Year's Eve

(Oh, and there's a date thing as well...)

Wasn't someone complaining about a lack of notice? How much more can they want. At 100 Baht a beer it gives us in the sticks time to save up. :o

New Year's Eve is the proper English.

100 baht a beer :o Better go up the local restaurant and drink large bottles of Chang at 45 baht

or drink at home for 35 baht!

:D:D

That is one very long e-mail list.

New Year's Eve 2009 makes sense to me.... in the same way that Christmas Eve is the evening before Christmas. It would be the night before the New Year of 2009.

2008 was the old / ending year, not the new year.
