Virtuemart In Thai On Joomla

Featured Replies

Hi everyone. This a question to some of you webmasters. Trying to get a website on to display in Thai but not working. Ok, what i have is Joomla 1.0.8 and running Virtuemart as a product catalogue. Putting in some thai words only displays some weird characters such as " 8+I-32' ". How can I get Thai Language to work on my virtuemart component? Anyone facing similar problems? I have the language pack uploaded to my virtuemart component directories. please help me.

I have used this other component called ProductBook with Joomla and was very happy with it until it started messing up the prices and views got messed up. Price of one product would show up on another product. Some products would go missing. Hence i settled with Virtuemart. Anyone can recommend a better script? I just need something to display products. Or maybe a whole new installation of some other php scripts?

All i need is to have a website up which can display all the products i have for sale. If Joomla does not have a proper component for it, is there anything else out there??? I need to have some good scripts/CMS which would let me add products easily and in an organised manner.

Appreciate any feedback on this.

Not having looked for language packs in the past, I can only ask a general question. Is the language pack a Joomla add-in or was it specific to VM? If it was specific to VM, you might need to install the Joomla language pack. You can find it on the Joomla extensions site: http://extensions.joomla.org
