Just a quick question.

I am currently on a single entry tourist visa which expires 09 February 08.

Does anybody know how early I can apply for a 30 day extension?

There is no set rules. But I would suggest no earlier than within the last 30 days as is normally reccomended for other types of extensions. It will mostly depend upon the immigration office where you apply.

You do not lose any days by applying early.

I would think about a week early.

Remember that immigration is closed December 31 to January 4.

Don't go January 5th, it's going to be packed with people.
