How To Call A Thai Mobile In Usa From Australia

Featured Replies

i am trying to call a thai mobile in the usa from australia (sydney) need help

You just dial the same number as you would if it was in Thailand:-

(International access) + 66 8xxxxxxxxxx :o

Obviously the phone needs to be roaming enabled and working :D

Surely Thailand related. As Thai phones are sooo different from others. :o

(Don't take it so serious, but it's such a..eh..lazy question.)

Only if the phone has the third wave-band applicable for N/America , most do not , they are only two band and not compatable .

Good point, to work reliably it would need to be a quad-band. Thailand uses GSM 900 and 1800 wheras the US uses GSM 850 and 1900 :o

Do you know if the phone is actually working in the US?

The last time I was in Canada i went to a radio shack for a sim card and time use , they spent over an hour trying with no success , they at least gave me the cards at their cost . At home I went on the internet , brought up the Nokia website and it told me all the model numbers that were compatible in Canada , mine was not . This saved me any more frustration just for a phone .
