Due to business restructuring being terminated how is the severance calculated for a Thai employee with 10plus years of service?

The rules I read state 300days.

Does this include holiday & weekends, thus = 10month?

Or should it be calculated as working days 248/yr = 365days - 13minimum holidays - 104weekend days.

1.2/yrs or 14.5months pay = 300/248?

Any suggestions on an affordable legal service to review?

found answer to my question, salaried employees treat the 300days including weekends & holidays thus = 10months. this was from an HR manager different Co. so believe independent but not a labor lawyer.

he/she should get the following:

- 1 month notice or payment in lieu

- over 7 years seniority means one month severance pay/service year max. 10 months

There may also be reasons to claim damages. Max. damage payment would be one month per service year. The person will have to negotiate with the employer or go to court.
