I am a US citizen staying in Bangkok. I currently have a 30 day Permit of Stay good to January 1st. I fly home on January 13th. Is there a way for me to extend my Permit of Stay to January 13th without leaving Bangkok, or will I need to make a border run.Thanks for any and all advise! siamiam

The maximum extension you can get is 7 days, so you will have to do a border run.

Correct, border run, which will give you an additional 15 days.

Timing will have to be good though as the earliest you can go will be 30 December and the latest of course the 1st of January!
