Record Player

Featured Replies

Maybe that is a silly question but I have an old record player I collected many records of my favourit

singers and bands. ( the records are originals not copies ) I like to transfer them to CD just in case they get broken or missplaced how can I do this? The record player has no outlets for CD or TV or DVD.

Is there anything on the market I can use?

Hi Fred,

One possible solution is to get a USB record player like http://www.computeractive.co.uk/computerac...n-usb-turntable

I am sure you will find something similar in Pantip Plaza at a fraction of the cost.

First of all you will need a digitalizer(sic) it's a small box wich converts your analog signal to a digital signal so you can connect to the cd-in of your amplifier.Second you need a software program like lp recorder or nero wave editor so you can burn it to cd.

Anyone offering this service in Bangkok like they do for VHS tapes to DVD etc ?

Drop your records and collect them back with audio CD's or mp3's. Would be more than happy to pay few baht not to having play/record all myself not to mention the editing.
