mynextgig Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 I am running Windows XP Pro - Service Pack 3 and cannot enable Fast User Switching to allow me to switch between users. The OS was setup with Offline Files enabled but i have now fully disabled this which allows me to access the option to turn on Fast User Switching, but each time i check the box in Control Panel-User Accounts-Change the Way Users Logon-Use Fast User Switching the settings are not retained. Now when i select 'Log Off', the 'Switch User' option appears but nothing happens when i click it. I have searched Google and it seems that i am not alone with this problem but none have received an answer as to its cause. Anyone know how to resolve this ?
