January 12, 200917 yr Hello,I am seeking a reliable insurance broker in Bangkok for an ex-pat life insurance policy (Friends Provident Intl, Zurich, Canada life etc). Any advice greatly welcomed Forget it. I've been down this road and cover for term assurance is about 13 times the UK premium and that is certainly not with better companies. Also, no-one can explain who is pocketing the difference as some bugger is lining their pockets. I do not mean Thai Visa (AA) here but some bugger is either ripping people off big style or they simply do not want the business. The rates bare no correlation to mortality rates at all. Get your assurance in the UK or back home. Remember, insurance law (in the UK) states that what you say on the day you sign has to be correct, not what you were perhaps considering doing some time in the future. Think about it !
