I can confirm that using internet sharing is possible in Windows-contrary to what other sites and posts may say.

You do not need an expensive router that needs to be imported from abroad, the connection from the CCU 680 can be shared by software only under windows.

I have it currently shared with 8 pc's.

I can confirm that its working under Windows XP, Vista and the new Windows 7.

We are selling the routers with a custom firmware supporting all C-motech models and Novatel Wireless Ovation MC727, built on the stock router model readily available in Thailand. Way cheaper than dedicated PC, maintenance-free, can be placed outdoors, use little power - many advantages over Windows solution.

Where can I buy this router? How much is it? Do you have a website with more information? I'm currently using the dedicated PC solution and I'm constantly going over to the PC to reconnect the USB modem as the re-dialing on disconnect does not always work. A dedicated router that has reliable connection re-dial would be great.

We are selling the routers on Phuket for 6500 baht including basic installation. The firmware is OpenWRT based with the custom code written by us. Part of this code is handling the "disconnect" problem known for some CDMA modems. While shipping Thailand-wide is easy, we are unsure at the moment about how to protect our code.

To Moderator: is the link appropriate here??? Please advise...
