Extending An E2 (education) Visa

Featured Replies

I have a 1 year education visa that expires soon. Can I go to immigration and extend it for 1 month in the same manner as extending a 2 month travel visa? (ie. pay 1900 baht for a 1 month extention) Thanks

You can only extend it, for one year even, with papers from your school.

So if I don't want to extend with for a year is there any option of extending through immigration? Or must I do a visa run?

You extend it for 1 year at Immigration. That is the only way to extend.

You can always do a border run and get 15 days if entering by land or go to a Thai Consulate and get a Tourist Visa.

Can someone give some advice on getting an education visa?

What school/university options are there for non Thais to stay here?

what are the easiest options?

Thai language school.

Check out the sponsors at top of this page.

Is that the only option?

The language school above?
