Using 1st generate unlocked iPhone. Just got a new pc. On old pc was using iTunes 7.5 to sync Outlook and Contacts which all worked ok. When I install version 7.6 on new pc and press sync, the Contacts and Calendars from outlook don't make it across to my iPhone. I though 7.6 was ok to use, maybe even v8. Just can't figure out what's happening here. Everything shows up fine in Outlook on the new pc - the .pst file is not in it's default location - could this be an issue ?

I am on Mac so all I can suggest is moving the outlook file to its default directory - you could just copy it there for now just to see whether or not mails sync.

I'd just go with the very latest iTunes.

SOLVED:

The location of the .pst file wasn't the problem - when I installed the latest version (8) all came back to life and worked
