Visa Problem

Featured Replies

Hello everybody:

I'm a Malaysian and will study in Thailand on Mar 2009. Now, I'm going to apply a student visa of Thai Embassay in KL.

But I faced some problem/question, please give me some advise!

Q1: Can I take the Visa at the same day? Cause I just want to stay in KL one day

Q2: How can I travel to Embassay safety because I lived in South area, not very familier the condition in KL

Q3: Is there still neccessary to apply a visa? Recently, I heard the news from the TV which inform by the new PM Thai

Thanks

1.You apply in the morning of one day and get visa back the next afternoon. So 1 day day will not do it.

2. South where? If Thailand it might be better to go to Kota Bharu for your visa.

3. I have seen no news reports about no visa being needed. Only free visas for tourists which hasn't gone into effect yet.

I assume you are talking about travelling to the Thai embassy in KL ?

Take a taxi from whereever you are in KL, but as Ubonjoe stated, you are going to have one overnight in KL. There is a hotel at walking distance from the embassy. If you are from elsewhere, air asia flies cheap to KL from quite a few places in Malaysia, in doing so, you will arrrive at the low cost terminal of KLIA (KLIA LCCT), you can get a bus to KL sentral for about 8 to 9 ringgit, don't take a taxi to KL from the terminal, ripp off artists.
