What amazes me is they seem to go into high gear over any report of gambling. I've often seen stories where they've raided a gambling group, and the pics proudly show the 1-200 baht that was seized in the raid.

Is sports betting illegal as well ? I'm sure I recall something about that during the World Cup last year. Makes me wonder about people betting on pool games, or playing those games (Connect 4, etc) in bars. Technically that too could be considered gambling but seems to get the nod.

But bring out the cards or the dice and watch out !
