I just have one male and one female.they are hand raised birds, well-socialized and tame birds very fun loving birds , blood DNA testing, has their registered microchip implant, accurate veterinarian records ,they are so funny ,likes to talk and dance. They loves being outside. Also they are very playful and have a very extended vocabulary , They says hello, They are very eager to learn and play. They are looking for a good home because I really don't have the time to teach them that much. They would be a very great candidate if you wanted to clicker train them or train them to do tricks since they are so eager to learn. they are health guarantee for one year.I spoil and give them the most excellent attention ever. They will also come with pets' accessories like toys, and some birds food stuffs. They would make wonderful companions in your home.I am an American, a company survey experts by profession. We work in a survey company in the USA and i happened to be one of the experts that where nominated to survey a shipping company in Cameroon by name Cameroon national and international shipping lines ( CAMSHIPLINES ) so with the love i have for these pets, i have to take them along as i have no body to look after them while i am gone. when i got to Cameroon , i found out that my hours for work where too much and i didn't had enough time for the babies so i have to give them out and only to any interested person or family. I am also willing to ship to any location and shipping will be free since i work with this shipping lines.all i want is for the pets to be out of here and save too IF YOU ARE REALLY INTERESTED AND KNOW YOU WILL PROVIDE THE LOVE AND CARE THESE PETS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HAVING IN THEIR LIVES THEN GET BACK TO ME WITH THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION. for shipping no matter where you are. YOUR FULL NAMES COUNTRY STATE DELIVERY ADDRESS ( DOOR ) PHONE NUMBER NEAREST AIRPORT TO YOUR LOCATION NUMBER OF MILES YOU LEAVE AWAY FROM THE AIRPORT WHEN I HAVE ALL THESE, I WILL TAKE THE PETS/PET TO THE AIRPORT AND SHIP THE PETS/PET TO YOU AT ONCE. GET BACK TO ME ASAPOur advertiser isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, he/she is using the same name & M.O. to advertise worldwide, for the same 2 birds. If the price was $5000 he might have got away with the scam, but $200 for a pair, not bloody likely, but some people will get sucked in unfortunately. The ad is plausible for anyone not knowing the market for hyacynth macaws. A nice try, "Robert Howard". robert_howard40@yahoo.com "Robs" activities... http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&...earch&meta= A Hyacynth Macaw No fault of Thai Visa, it was a plausible ad. geriatrickid
Even odder, since the birds are not allowed to be imported into countries like Australia, USA, EU unless the "owner" is moving and has import permits. I believe the same rule applies to Thailand. Flying in from Cameroon would mean using one of the major national carriers (Air kenya excluded) which means they wouldn't take the bird. Even TG tries to follow the rules on live cargo. Bird would be dead by the time it arrived anyway.
sbk
Please report any scammish classifieds either here or by emailing support at thaivisa.com with the link, thanks (and yes, while I know that "scammish" is not a word, it should be )

jtp
Normally Nigerian scammers will have a legit number...If you call them and tell them you were talking to George,or Jason they are quick to tell you that "He has popped out for awhile, maybe i can help you as George/Jason whoever is my brother/father/uncle......! Because they are running so many scams, they cannot be sure who/what name has been used. I have helped out a number of Thai ladies caught up in this crap,as it is very common on dating sites. But good to see you caught these clowns out GungaDin,you must really know your birds!Hopefully this will save somebody a bit of hurt and monetary loss! bina
please if anyone sees any ads like this let me know also as some of these types show up in the pets vets forum; while i am savvy in the area of wild animals, i am pretty 'bannork' when it comes to shipping costs and worldwide market costs... except for dogs and goats AND if i cant put my hands on the animal to physically check it, have it move around, etc.i guess i am a trusting soul. on the other hand, , i probably wouldnt buy it in the first place, or at least have someone that i trust to check out the animal, or do it through zoo/proper animal people who specialize... yes u pay a finders fee but if u work with someone trustworthy than its worth every penny. (got my second male boxer thru the net, but it was i who bugged the breeder, not the other way around ...the ads certainly sounded really plausible since most normal people dont know about sexing birds, microchips etc. , and i would assume that hte person just put any old number in the price slot and then discuss actual price and negotiote (a common way of advertising in israel btw; caveat emptor.) although cameroon would ring a bell i guess. anyway, i guess i should also check out the pet classifieds section. but i certainly would never guess a scam. thanx, bina israel
