Yes, I was thingking the same thing. The news keeps mentioning how "remote" islands have not even been assessed yet. Which islands could they be talking about?

I also know people on Ko Lipe and in the Tartauro Marine Park. Has there been word on these islands?

Most of the coral reef were damaged in some islands, but not all. Recently, the team of marine biologists from Kasetsart U. went there and did the primary assetment in Similan Islands. They found that, in some area, the coral reef were totally wiped out. Coral reef in Ko Bpaat and Ko Gaao are covered with undersea sand and they're dying. It's so sad.
