I just got back from getting my non immigrant B visa.

My work permit application has not yet been sent in....

but several appalling things happened at my workplace and I am ready to quit.

If I give notice what will happen to my visa and how long will I have to get out of the country ???

If you have an actual Non B Visa obtained from a Thai Consulate you can stay until it expires.

If you have an extension obtained from Immigration you have to leave the country on the day you finish your job or apply for a 7 day extension from Immigration.

So yes, if you have a Visa you will be ok.

You are fine until the new visa expires.
