Akwa Guesthouse Still In Open?

I am trying to find out news about Akwa Guesthouse on Samui.

I made a booking a while back and paid for the room into their bank account on 5 Feb. I have sent emails to confirm payment, and after 3 days of no reply, I have been trying to call - only a mobile phone is listed which is the owner's. The phone is either not switched on or no answer. It is now a week since I paid for a 2 night stay and have not got confirmation of my money being received or my booking, which I think is a bit long.

Does anyone know if there is a problem with Akwa guesthouse of why they are not answering calls or emails. It seems strange but there could be a perfectly good reason.

I now have been contacted by AKWA guesthouse and my booking confirmed. They apparently had problems with internet connections which is why they had not replied.

Glad it is all sorted.
