ahddub
Isn't it a valid function of a club or association to lobby for the benefit of its members? http://forum.thaivisa.com/cgi-bin/ikonboar...t=ST;f=1;t=2407

MekhongKurt
It sure is but it is counter productive when people start looking here and seeing the irresponsible and viscious political comment from foreigners I'm not entirely sure it is appropriate for me to mention this in this thread, but I'll take a chance. Police Senior Sergeant Major Kanit of the Royal Thai Police, who has spent most of his career with the Immigration Bureau, will be making a presentation regarding the kinds of visas available, the requirements and procedures for applying for each, and the new visa-fee schedule on Sunday, September 21st, at 3:00 P.M. in Bourbon Street Restaurant in Washington Square to The Bangkok Expats' Association. PSSM Kanit also will field questions upon completion of his presentation. Anyone interested is welcome to come and listen to Kanit and, if you like, to join the Association. We are now meeting every Sunday 3-5 P.M. at Bourbon Street. For information on other slated speakers, please contact us at this address: [email protected]. Hope to meet some of you soon! Sincerely, Kurt T. Francis, Acting President The Bangkok Expats' Association
