Best Beach In Thailand

What is the best beach in Pattaya?

There is one by the Asia Hotel, and there is Cosy Beach - does anyone no anything better in the area (can go out a bit, e.g. Rayong area etc)/

:) Beaches in Pattaya are polluted and not recommended for swimming. Try Rayong.

The oil slicks (and that is just from the swimmers!), the opaque water, the smells - Pattaya's beaches are not designed for swimming

Without a doubt: Patong Beach.

If you never heard of it, it is on Phuket Island. Patong may not be the quietest beach in Thailand but it is surely one of the most beautiful: clean white powdery sand and crystal clear blue waters.

Fun actvities too. We always go jet-ski-ing and the rental guys are really friendly (even when you damage it a bit). Ever-smiling massage girls, big-boobed tanned ladyboys and the odd timeshare guy. As for the latter, just take a quick survey of his and land yourselves 3 nights free accommodation at a brand-new five-star resort just opened.

Patong Beach is conveniently located too. From there, there are innumerable tuk-tuk taxi drivers who will you drive you around the island or to other beaches.

While strolling along Patong Beach dont forget to take the opportunity offered to you by one of the Indian tailor touts - he's not lying to you when he says that many of his regular clients include: George W Bush, David Beckham and Prince William.

Are there any good beaches with faranags that are not too dirty and noisy?

I think the only surefire way to avoid this is to hire a yacht for your trip.

Even then you may find some stoned sweaty kids sharing a bottle of singha at your favourite island hideaway.

Good luck to 'em I say! :)

Sorry, I meant beaches that are not too noisy and dirty but still have farangs going there. Not dirty and noisy farangs!

Swim near Pattaya and if you suffer from allergies, just give it about 5 minutes and watch your skin react!!
