90-day Report Falls On Sunday

Featured Replies

HI.

I just got my retirement visa and my first 90-day report date falls on Sunday, May 10. Also Friday before and Monday after are Thai holidays. Can I report on Tuesday, May 12 without incurring the wrath of Immigration?

You are allowed to report 7 days before or after the report date without paying a fine.

Yes. You can make your report within seven days after the due date without incurring a fine if the report is done at the immigration office. If it is mailed, it must arrive not later than the due date.

You better report on Thursday they will date you on Monday.

Not a problem a day after a Weekend or Holiday reporting date is ok no Fine :o:D:D I would suggest for piece on mind next this happen report on Friday. Maybe just maybe in the near future they do away with this silly rule for Long stay Retirees, Guy with Thais Wives, people with one year buisness visas :D .
