Hi, Anybody know of any shops/stores selling technic turntables / mixers ect in BKK.

Ive never known of any shop in bkk selling technics turntables,i think singapore has a technics dealer that sells them,but y]ou still got the customs import crap to deal with.Best thing is to try] and buy] some second hand.Bahtsold.com is a good website for every]thing second hand.Seen some cd mixers on there that a bar was selling.

If no luck depending on how bad y]ou need them i would ask in dj bars if they] know any] one selling any] sets.Best place would be down in koh pangan or samui.When i get over here full time and our place sorted i will buy] a set off ebay] and bring them over in my] luggage and hope i get them in..

You need to go to Fortune Mall and check out the second hand hi fi places.

not sure if it is open anymore, but there was a shop called mixup (across from the asia hotel skytrain stop) that had all sorts of kit dj. it was in the hollywood complex

post on bangkokrecorder or check out bangkokspin one of the admin would know. i was heavy into the scene a few years back, but have mellowed of late.

oh and ignore the advice about koh phan ngan. they get all their kit form bangkok.

Cheers for the replies. I'm down in phuket, nothing down here, but i'd heard of a couple of places in BKK. I'll drop BKK spin a line, see if they know. I'm much the same, chileed out as the years have gone by.
