Pablo H
If you had to choose three of your favorites albums, any type of music, what would the top three be? Mine, after a longtime thinking are as follows: 1. Dark Side of the Moon (Pink Floyd) 2. The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway (Genesis) 3. The Rise And Fall of Ziggy Stardust And THe Spiders From Mars (Bowie) Ok, they are mine, what are yours?

Although I must admit there were some shit bands doin' the rounds.Northside/ACR -were you working when they played?
ProfessorFart
I worked at the Hac from 88 to 93 as well as at Jillys! Saw the lot of them! Used to do gig nights at the International and the Apollo as well. Never saw a band to touch the Irons IMHO both on stage or off although Tull ran them close with the £200 gift and the spread at the Britannia....... McAttack
for my own part I think the following are my 3 best in no particular order..... 1. Soundtrack from "The song remains the same" - Led Zepplin 2. Joshua Tree - U2 3. Welcome to my nightmare - Alice Cooper However, I am a big Zep fan. Never saw Zepplin live but went to see Plant and Page twice when they came to Australia. I've seen Iron Maiden live and I must agree they were very good. Other bands I've seen are Deep Purple, Queen, Paul McCartney, Van Halen, ELO, Fleetwood Mac and obviously a few Aussie bands I've seen in a couple of the bigger pubs

McAttack
I went to a gig by The Church a few months back - are they from Oz.Still not convinced about Iron Maiden. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Church are from OZ but I didn't know they were still kicking. They were a band from the 80's. 20,000 people at Festival Hall for 3 nights in arow to see Iron Maiden can't all be wrong. Sorry you never saw them. Maybe you might have a different opinion if you did. I saw Twisted Sister as well (free tickets). Worst band musically I've seen but they sure knew how to get the crowd pumping. eastbaybob
1. The Cruci######s (can I say that here?) with the album of the same name, but not the album, the tape that came out first back in 1983. 2. Godflesh-Godflesh 3. White Strips- Elephant And to ProfessorFart, one of the best shows that I've ever seen was Pantera at San Jose State who were fantastic and also seemed like some of the nicest guys around, they really loved their fans. It was very sad to hear what happened to Mr. Dimebag.
