OK quicky but important question regarding my NON O 1 year multiple entry visa.

So my 90 days run out soon and i find myself having to add an extra 10 days extension (as i have air ticket to leave LOS).

How easy will jomtien give me 10days?

What docs will they want ?

What is the procedure at the office and do they issue it on the spot etc?

Cost?

I know there have been other threads about extensions etc but they seem to be about people wanting either 1 year extensions etc (and are married etc).

This is only for 10 days.

The longest extension you can get is 7 days at immigration (1900 baht). And that is a big if since you have a multiple entry visa.

It would be better to make a border run and get another 90 days.

As said you may be able to get 7 days if you can show a flight ticket out of Thailand within those 7 days.

Obviously if i wanted an extra 90 days i would do a visa run......just seemed a bit overkill for extra 10 days only.

If jomtien only give 7days extension on a non-o multi then its not an option for me. (already got weeks holiday in bali booked)

Options: Whats the cheapest/easiest border crossing?

Done pailin before....whole wasted day on a bus!

Done lao/friendship bridge.....hundreds of bits of unidentified paper etc

Done May Sai/burma.......piece of piss and cheap..but a bit far away.

From Pattaya Cambodia is nearest and cheapest.

Lots of companies make the runs. You can find some for as low as 1800 baht all inclusive.

if you are gganted the extra 7 days you could just pay 3 days overstay (1,500thb)

failing that, i would take a bottle of Jonny Walker with you when you go for your seven day extention and you will more than likely get your 10 days! good luck Coolie
