Without know an exact number, I'd suggest that it's about in the middle of the scale. All our laundry soaps and bar soaps lathered up easily, and there was never any massive calcium carbonate buildup on garden pottery after the water evaporated, even over time, indicating that it wasn't too hard. On the other side, it never had that silky feel with shower soaps that really soft water usually gives.
