happylarry
I am going to have a large lorry driving down from Korat to Koh Samui to pick up some furniture and then return to Korat. Does anybody have any large items they need transporting and willing to chip in a bit for the fuel costs. If so pm me and we can talk. HL
torrenova
I would have thought it better to get it transported from Samui. I had a big lorry come from Pattaya to Buriram (430km) and they charged Bt7000 I think. Not sure of distances to Samui.
happylarry
Well I lived on Samui for four years and dont know of any lorries operating from there. This is a proper covered in lorry and always seems a reasonable charge when we have used them before. As for your pricing from Pattaya to Buriram, it all depends how much the fuel was at the pumps when you moved. I had this same lorry do a move from Bangkok to Korat when the fuel was at its maximum and it cost eight thousand but it would be far less than that now. On a long distance the fuel counts for most of the price. HL
