Teachers Non-imm B Extension

I've been reading for some time now on TV and other sites that teachers with a Non-Imm B visa are being asked to show their Teachers License when extending their Non-Imm B Visas. I usually take what I read with a pinch of salt as I know that what people often post on here isn't always correct but I though I would let you know what happened to a colleague of mines sister yesterday.

Her Non-Imm B runs out Feb 28 and so she went to Mae Sai for her extension yesterday but the immigration officer wouldn't extend it unless she showed her Teachers License. My boss rang the immigration office yesterday afternoon at Mae Sai and they confirmed that they now require a Teachers License when extending Non-Imm B visas for teachers. He added that this is only for teachers who work at government schools, not private schools.
