A Chiang Mai Building Surveyor/assessor

Hi,

The GF is about to buy a 2nd hand house and is a bit nervous about buying 2nd hand (as usual).

Can anyone recommend a building surveyor/assessor to give it the once over (the house, not the GF )?

Just a typical report covring any structural problems etc.

Do you mean that it is a typical report in Thailand?

The banks might have an inspector they use to check out their repossessions or somebody from the Civil Engineering Department at CMU might help. But it is difficult to evaluate a structure when you can not see it, like you can not see the re-bar in the concrete without some rather expensive equipment.
