I arrived to Thailand from the U.S. almost a month ago. My 30 day permission to stay stamp is expiring on March 9th . I need to find a company in Bangkok that will take me to get a 60 day tourist Visa. What are the best companies to use?

I saw jackgolf.com advertised and looked them up online but their website says their 60 day tourist visa service is temporarily suspended and they're only doing the 15 day visa runs right now (which I can't do because I definitely need the full 60 day tourist visa as I will be recovering from surgery so can't do two back to back 15 day runs). I also looked up thaivisarun.com but it appears that they only offer the 15 day visa runs and not the 60 day tourist visa package.

What company can help me get the 60 day tourist visa? I'm getting nervous.

Thank you so much for the very helpful and quick reply. I appreciate it and will check the links!

Also many of the hospitals have a visa section which will do the paper work if your need to stay due to medical reasons............Good Luck

There are two quite reputable services in BKK that I have used: 1) www.thaivisaservice.com and 2) www.thaivisarun.com. Their website have phone numbers to call for more information. You'll need at least 6 months left on your passport, 4 (or 6) blank pages, and 4 photos.

Both companies leave in the evening on Wednesday (return Friday) and Sundays (return Tuesday) to Laos (Vientiene) so you can obtain a tourist visa (single or double entry). You'll spend a night in Laos (hotel provided), then return to BKK the next evening around midnight. The price is about the same, the service is good, so whichever you choose is ok.

Jack Golf doesn't have the Laos visa run anymore. Instead, they started to go to Cambodia for the 60 day stamp. According to their information, you'll have to leave on Wednesday at 5am, spend two nights in Cambodia, then leave Cambodia 4am on Friday, returning to BKK around noon. Call them to confirm that they are still offering this service.

With Thaivisaservice and Thaivisarun, it's quite easy, so relax and enjoy!

my experience....

DO IT YOURSELF!

it's cheaper and you can have your own "style"

take the bus overnight to Laos....700 baht

arrive in the morning at the thai consulate

apply for the visa....fee 2000 baht for a 2 months tourist visa

after applying...go look for a guesthouse....300-500 baht

next day pick up the passport with the visa and take the evening bus back to bkk.

Total cost (food not included but very cheap over there).... around 4000 baht

Total time: 1 night bus...+ 1 day Laos...+2nd day laos in the evening drive home....arrive 6am next day :o

I hope this helped you out :D

I wish you good luck!!!!
