I got a 3 stamp visa back in the USA and I noticed that it says

"This Visa Must Be Utilized By March 16"

I am already in Thailand and my first visa says i'm good until March 30.

Does this mean I had to use my first stamp by March 16, if yes when does the other 2 stamps expire?

I am pretty sure of the answer but just want to confirm.

After reading up on this more it looks like I might be wrong about this and everything expires on March 16. This Doesn't make much sense to me because I got issued the 3 stamp visa in December. So shouldnt the Must be utilized date be 6 months?

If I am screwed. Will I be able to reenter the country and get a 30 day visa? on arrival?

I should be out of thailand until the April 1 and my flight back home from Bangkok leaves April 16

You have to make use of all 3 entries before March 16. After march 16 you can no longer make use of the visa to gain entry into Thailand. Your permission to stay remains valid.

Dam I was under the impression that the multiple entry visa was valid for 6 months not 3.

Will I be able to get a 30 day visa on arrival when i come back from bali?

I am a US Citizen an I got issued a 60 stamp in jan 09.

Yes, every time you enter Thailand without a visa by air you will get 30 days.

Note that some airlines may refuse you boarding if you don't have a ticket out of Thailand within those 30 days. They are required to check you will leave the country within 30 days when traveling without a visa. Some check, others don't.

I did not know that.

What was the point of me getting a 3 entry visa then? Only good if I was planning on coming back from not an airplane?

The visa expires on 16 March, after that date the visa can't be used. Your last chance to enter Thailand, using that visa, is 15 March. Any "stamps" not used before 15 March are forfeited. Your Admitted Until date remains valid even though the visa expires. What you perceive and what you actually get is not always the same, should have checked the validity date upon receipt of the visa. If we are talking about a Tourist Visa, then your 30 March permission to stay date should be able to be extended for an additional 30 days at immigration. That additional time may or may not be of help.

When you leave Thailand, and then reenter by air, you will get a 30 day Visa Exempt entry at the airport upon arriving from Bali.

Bluxed, you don't say when you arrived in Thailand but it appears that it was on 31 JAN 2009 and you received permission to stay until 30 MAR 2009. As InterestedObserver wrote, you can go to any immigration office and get a 30-day extension of stay for a fee of 1,900 Baht. This will cover you until your return flight on 16 April.

If your tourist visa says that it is valid for three journeys or entries to Thailand, another option is to do a border run not later than 15 March, ie leave Thailand, enter neighbouring country, and return to Thailand. This will give you a new permission to stay for 60 days from the date of your new arrival.

Not positive on this, but you might try going to immigration and claim the mistake of being given a triple entry , but only valid for 3 months when triple entries should be good for 6 months...I know someone else who had the same problem and had it fixed by immigration...It's worth a try

Some consulates, eg the consular section of the Thai embassy in Washington DC, indicate on their website that a tourist visa is valid for only 90 days, without indication of a longer validity for a visa valid for more than one entry.
