Does anyone know of a bank(s) here in Phuket that can issue a "medallion signature guarantee" ? It is a green undated stamp . I have been informed by John Hancock Mutual Fund that to encash my investment with them which is in the U.S.) I will have to send them a letter of instruction to do so and it MUST have a medallion guarantee stamp on it. I asked if I could just get a notary to witness my signature and they said no.

I know in America, i get a Medallion stamp at my bank.

I would go to Bangkok bank ( i say that cause they are the biggest) and ask them.

I'd be surprised if they know what it means.
