I have a french friend that stays in Chiang Mai as I do and is on a Tourist Visa Double entry + 1 month extension.

He arrived from France on a Double Entry Tourist Visa. After two months he went to Cambodia and enter again Thailand. When the last two months of his second entry expired he went to inmigration in Chiang Mai and he got a one month extension(Total= 5 Months)

My question is:

Can he get some where another tourist Visa? If the answer is yes:

Where is the best place to get it : Vientiane(Which is the cheapest option for him as he can take a bus), KL, Phonm Penh or Penang

Whch kind of tourist Visa he can get: Double Entry or Single entry?

If he cannot get a Tourist Visa as France is part of the European comunity can he go to Vientiane and get a 30 Days extra stay when he re-enter the Kingdom?

He can go to Vientienne and get a Double Entry Tourist Visa. At least one of the entries will be free of charge until 4th June, maybe both.
