What Sort Of Visa Will Penang Or Laos Give Me

Featured Replies

Hello all, I have done a bit of a forum search, but cant find the answer to my simple question,,( 74875474758 results),,

SO, I have currently a non IMM type"O" visa, obtained in my home country with 2 entries. This expires in April, so I have to start from scratch. If I go to penang, or Laos, what sort of visa will they give me there. My preference is of course for another Non Imm type"O", but i get a sense from postings that this is not possible.

Your answers will be appreciated.

Ok, australian, single 52yo, and i dont want a retirement visa.

Probably a single entry Non Imm O based on exploring retirement from Penang.

Can always get a Double Tourist Visa from Vientienne Laos.

To clarify,,,Vientienne will give me 2 x60 day tourist entries,on application,no problems, no questions asked

Penang i dont understand, " based on exploring retirement from penang" I just want what is normally on offer to punters who walk into the Thai Consul in Penang.

Next year, if i stay in LOS, i will organise a retirement visa ,In the meantime i enjoy my 90 day breaks from the country.

Thanks

Walk into the Consulate in Penang and tell them you want a Single Non Imm O Visa as you want to extend it in Thailand for retirement.

Alternatively contact a Visa Agent in Penang and ask him the score. This is one of many. http://jimsplace-penang.com/
