Sorry if this has been covered already. I know that tourist visas are free until around June (?), but are the extensions free also? Taking a trip to an embassy for a free 90 day visa (with free extensions) is certainly a much better deal than a free 60 day visa.

Tourist Visas are free until June 4th.

Just received a new tourist visa back from Brisbane (Australia) consulate. After checking by phone a copy of the airline booking was required to prove the trip was legit. The visa has "gratis" on the top line.

How about double tourist visas in Vientiane, are both entries free?
