Help please

My Fax machine is playing up, sends fine, but mostly cannot receive... [as only 3 months old will need to send it back for repair/replacement]

I have ADSL and Router and use Vista, but wondered if I put in a V92 modem into my PC, could I then use my PC to send/receive faxes?

Will internet connection still work via the ADSL Router ? yes I know the ADSL comes to the splitter/filter so the phone & fax are not direct, but if I am on the PC via ADSL will the V92 kick in and send/receive a fax at the same time?

I am still using old fashioned WinFax with a V90 modem and do not face any problems with my ADSL about it.

You need a DSL Filter (splitter) but guess you have it already if you make phone calls over the same line the ADSL signal is transmitted.
