Need A Re-entry Permit?

Featured Replies

Sorry to ask such a simple question - but I haven't been out of the country for a few years.

Do I need to get a Re-Entry Permit if my visa is a Non-Imm-B with the "NO of entry" being "M"?

I am thinking NOT - but I don't want to blow what has been a VERY nice "retirement visa".

Thank you for your patience!

If you have a Non Imm B Multi Entry obtained form a Thai Consulate you do not need a Re Entry Permit.

If you have a 12 month Extension obtained from Immigration you do.

As you say that you have not left the country for a few years I hope you have a 12 month Extension and not a Non B Visa.

EDIT.

I have just looked at some of your past posts. It appears that you have a 12 month extension for Retirement. Your Non Imm B Multi Entry Visa expired years ago.

Yes you do need a Re Entry Permit from your local Immigration Office. 1,000 Baht.

Excellent - I see the reasoning. Yes, I am actually on a 12-month extension.

Thank you!

The Rentry Permit will keep your stay alive. If you did not get one , when you returned you would get 30 days and have to start all over again.
