January 20, 200521 yr Am I really slow in reacting to this or have they just changed the forum title? Yesterday I was a Farang Girl Today I'm a Lady It's all a bit little britain for me, heh!
January 20, 200521 yr Months ago we had a poll on whether to change the name as we have quite a few thai ladies posting on TV as well (lovlie cutie, candyflip etc) & I felt that the name was a little exclusive. We didn't hear anything for a while & then, hey presto, changed to Ladies ( loosely used obviously ). I don't think it will change our hits in search functions & includes all of the different nationalities of chicks we get posting here now
January 20, 200521 yr Good reason. But I'm going to have to work on the Lady bit <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aren't you all???
January 20, 200521 yr wasn't refering to you Thaddeus my lovely, you are always nothing but a perfect gent & are more than welcome to post anytime in the Ladies section
January 20, 200521 yr Gosh .... is there a small blushing smilie somewhere ..... ( I feel another divorce coming on ) From a red bloodied male perspective (big overstatement... actually an ordinary English bloke with average ambitions/earnings/bravado/drinking quotient/wants/needs and ability ... but I give good hugs) The whole girls or ladies subject shouldn't really be an issue .... I know it can be ... but it shouldn't. Girl, lady, young lady, chic (don't like that last one personally .... disco memories ) ... it doesn't make any difference about who you are or the way that you feel about yourselves .... it's a little like getting used to being called 'farang' ... not the words that are said, but the way. Boo just called me a gent, a few years ago that may have troubled me a little, not now, and knowing what I know now it shouldn't have troubled me at the stage in my life when it may have done. Be proud girls .... or be proud ladies..... because it means the same thing when you are called either when it is well meant. (and from my forum experiences, there will now follow a series of posts from real red bloodied males making chucking-up noises etc etc .... whatever)
January 21, 200521 yr Good reason. But I'm going to have to work on the Lady bit <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aren't you all??? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am going to give you a good spanking for that statement, Paul.
January 21, 200521 yr Thaddeus post Yesterday, 2005-01-20 22:59:27 Gosh .... is there a small blushing smilie somewhere ..... ( I feel another divorce coming on wink.gif ) Don't worry Thad, your lady can know she's safe with me Hubby did ask why I was using the lub smilie though & did I have a new man, I told him "only in cyberspace honey, I have quite afew!" ha ha Seemed ok with that that, probably thinking it will free him up for more golf time Boo just called me a gent, a few years ago that may have troubled me a little, not now, and knowing what I know now it shouldn't have troubled me at the stage in my life when it may have done.Be proud girls .... or be proud ladies..... because it means the same thing when you are called either when it is well meant. Thad, from reading your posts on the other, I know not once have I seen you make a nasty comment or derogatory reaction to some things that have hapenned in your life, to either your partners or to anyone else on there for that matter & for that you are a gent to me. (and from my forum experiences, there will now follow a series of posts from real red bloodied males making chucking-up noises etc etc .... whatever) Just let them try
January 21, 200521 yr Girls, ladies, all the same to me. Just don't call me Ma'am Now I will NOT tolerate that one too.
January 24, 200521 yr I seem to remember a certain member actually called "the gentleman" and how he was very gentleman like in his ealier days, even a few of you "ladies" commented on this fact in this fine forum. Then he went mad so we shot him
January 24, 200521 yr We can't be held responsible Tuky for the madness of posters. I do recall though that even when he went mad he was still quite the gent to us ladies
