3 Week Itinerary Help For A Couple Who Wants To Start Off In Bangkok And Snorkel

Featured Replies

Me and my SO plan to arrive in BKK on April 1st.

Here's our current plan (not much of a plan really):

April 1-5: Venture the "touristy" spots around Bangkok (i.e. marketplaces, Wat Po, etc). On the 4th, my father (who is Thai) wants me to visit a tomb to pay homage to his parents.

April 6-17: I want to snorkel in the Similan Islands based on the great reviews here. I also want to touch other places that are nice for shopping (for the lady, not me), sightseeing, and grubbing good eats.

What are some recommendations for me to do during this time based on what little you know about me? I like to walk and sightsee. I don't like to hike up hills and kill my leg muscles. I want to take lots of pictures and eat eat eat.

at the risk of sounding like a pri*k, mate you need to do some walking on your own (on the internet) and narrow down where you want to be, Similan Islands is too vague - considering you are arriving in two days, its seems a bit strange to asking now.

If you can provide some clearer indication of where you will be staying, maybe we can give you some specific suggestions on where to 'walk' and 'eat'.

The title made me laff.
