BREAKING NEWS Seven Dead as Runaway Bus Slams into Trucks and Bursts into Flames
I see people saying engine breaking is bad because it heats up the transmission. To correct: True for CVT transmissions, they are they worst you can ever have. Not True for Diesels, with "real" transmission that can handle high torque, Engine breaking cools down the engine quite a lot and is necessary for Diesel. During low gear at high RPM without giving gas, the engine sucks in a a lot of cool air at high speed without combustion. Cooling down significantly the oil. Diesel works best at very high temperatures, the downside is that the oil burns faster. you can observe with an OBD2 adapter or similar dashboards. -

Trump can Pave Way for Lasting Immigration Reform after Border Success
There are two massive issues looming that very few people want to talk about, much less people within the administration. Number one is that America needs cheap labor, especially if the Trump fantasy of bringing manufacturing back to the US has any chances whatsoever. So where is that cheap labor going to come from, it's not going to come from within, as Americans do not want to do those jobs. Number two is the reform of the legal immigration system, specifically the antiquated quota system so that we can retain the best and the brightest from all over the world once they graduate from our universities. As it stands now it's very difficult to get a visa to work in the US as the quota system is very out of date and way too low for many professions. So if someone who graduates at the top of their class in MIT, they cannot get a visa to work for a high-tech company and they end up working for that same high-tech company either in Brazil, or they go to work for a different company in Europe or elsewhere. That is called a brain drain, something that's infinitely too sophisticated for Trump and his band of goons to comprehend. -

Bali expats !!!
Nowhere near Grandpa status, old fella. I jog at the local lake for an hour every night and go to the Gym five days a week. No alcohol for the last three months. I certainly look better than I did. I prefer Danang, Siem Reap, Vientiane, Nakhon Phanom, etc. I also like where I live, with a slower pace, and don't feel the need to be ogling women or listening to the SAS exploits of pot-bellied foreigners in the bars of Bangkok. -

Hip Joint replacement Surgery in Chiang Mai.
Thanks. Booked my appointment with this guy. Just appointed 34th President of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, so he's likely competent. Fully covered by my insurance too. The other DR the was PM'd to me was not in my insurance plan. Thanks for the info though. -

Food for Thought > A Common Sense vaccine statement and a BS one...
I doubt it would be worthwhile or productive to continue this debate now. If RFK does what he has promised he would do, we can pick up this discussion in a few months. The MMR vaccine is particularly problematic. A CDC whistleblower leaked information to Steve Kirsch about the irrefutable link with autism (pasting the article below for the users who are interested), but this is just 'crazy conspiracy theory' of course… https://kirschsubstack.com/p/over-300-pages-of-evidence-from-the
