Non Immigrant B Visa In Singapore

Featured Replies

Hey guys

i have to go get a new non imm B visa for my new job to get a work permit.

On the website of the Thai embassy in Singapore, it states that I need a letter of recommendation of a Singaporean company, as i am not singaporean, that is impossible for me to get.

does anyone has experience with this? Is it ok not to have that latter.

Also they state it might take 2 weeks to get the visa, i went their 2 years ago and got it in 1 day, anyone any recent experience?

tnx for the help

I got my non immi B in Singapore last year. I'm not a Singaporean, however, in my circumstances I was being transferred from my employer's Singapore branch to their Bangkok branch. A recommendation letter from the Singapore branch of my company was adequate, rather than from a Singaporean company.

Visa was approved within a couple of hours.

Unless you are from Singapore I suspect you would be wise to use another Consulate. They seem to run hot or cold and seem to be in a cold cycle at present.
