Hi

I have a multiple entry non Im B visa.

I am working and have a work contract and have 6 months left on my visa stamped in my passport.

I have done one visa run to penang and the documents stapled into my passport say that I have to do another visa run in a couple of weeks.

This is a pain!

What is the solution?

Can I go to the immigration board here in Phuket and get a stamp or an extension which means I do not have to do a visa run every 90 days?

Any advice would be most appreciated.

If you qualify you can get a 1 year extension of stay based on working from immigration.

If you and employment meet the requirements a one year extension of stay is your best bet. But if your employer has not suggested it perhaps you will not qualify. You can ask your local office what the specific requirements are. The extension of stay should cost 1,900 baht if available for you.
